Requirements for applicants under 18For an under-18 application, a parent or legal guardian signs electronically, or signs form 735-173DP if unable to attend. Proof of marriage or emancipation removes that signature requirement. For a first Oregon driving privilege before 18, a parent or guardian certifies school enrollment or attendance; applicants no longer in school present a diploma or GED certificate.
